Row 1     

SK, CH 38, turn, 1DC in the 6th st from the hook, *CH1, sk1st, 1DC in the next st*, repeat *-* to end (17 boxes)

Row 2     

CH3, turn, sk1st, 1DC in the next st *sk2st, 2DC 1CH 2DC around the next CHSP, sk2st, 1DC in 3rd st*, repeat * - * five times, CH1, sk1st, 1DC in 2nd CH. (5 shells)

Row 3

CH3, turn, sk1st, 3DC in next st, sk2st, 1DC in CHSP of shell below, sk2st, *2DC 1CH 2DC on top of DC in row below, sk2st, 1DC in CHSP of shell below, sk2st*, repeat *-* 4 times, ending in 3 DC on top of last DC from the repeat, CH1, sk1st, 1DC in 2nd CH. (4 shells and two half shells)

Row 4

CH3, turn, sk1st, 1DC in the first DC of the 3DC below, *sk2st, 2DC 1CH 2DC on top of the DC, sk2st, 1DC around the CHSP*, repeat * - * 4 times, sk2st, 2DC 1CH 2DC on top of the DC, sk2st, 1DC on the last DC of the 3DC below, CH1, sk1st, 1DC in 2nd CH. (5 shells)

Sew in the ends.

Approx size of square 18 cm x 18 cm / 7 inch x 7 inch 

! Slightly smaller square but it should be fine, it will stretch! If you are worried, you can slightly stretch it by pinning it to an ironing board to the size of the Anna Square and steaming it from 2cm above it! Unpin and it should be a bit bigger, but I did nothing to mine and once in the blanket they do stretch a bit.
