Bloomin’ Jar Cover

As explained in the video, it all depends on the size of your jar, you have to make the base as wide as the base of your jar, and your sides as tall as the sides of your jar. 

Base

Round 1: SK, CH3, SS to close the circle, 2CH, 9HDC into the circle, SS (10)

Round 2: CH2, 2HDC in each st around, add 1HDC to the st the CH2 is coming out of. (20)

Round 3: CH2, 1DC in the first st, 2DC in the next st, repeat to end, adding 1DC to the st the CH2 is coming out of. (30)

Do more rounds if you need to taking into account the increases for a flat circle. 

Side 

Round 4: CH2, 1 HDCBLO + 3rd loop in each st, SS (30)

Round 5: CH 5, sk 3, 1SC in 4th st,  when you do the last loop, CH3, 1DC on the junction 

Round 6 -  11: CH5, 1SC in the middle of the next loop, when you do the last loop, CH3, 1DC on the junction

Do more rounds if you need to depending on the height of your jar. 

Round 12: CH3, 1SC in the middle of the next loop, SS into the first SC when you finish the round 

Round 13: CH1, 3SC around each CH3 created in the previous round, SS 

Cut off yarn and weave in end 

Decoration 

Sew on a Jam Jar Happiness Flower. (Or two depending on the size of your jar!)
