Jewels Of The Nile: Esna 

This week we sail from Luxor to Esna, a small town in southern Egypt located on the west bank of the Nile River. It is known for its well-preserved temple of Khnum, the ram-headed god of creation.

CH1, turn, 1DC, CH1, 1DC, in same st, *CH5, sk4, place 1SC in the 4th DC of the shell, CH5, sk 4, place 1 Puff onto the DC of the previous row*, repeat *-* to end, CH5, sk4, place 1SC in the 5th st (=4th DC of the shell), CH5, sk 4, place 1DC, CH1, 1DC on top of the last DC. (19 puffs)

CH1, turn, 1DC, CH1, 1DC, in same st, *CH 5, 1SC around the CHSP of the shell, CH5, 1 Puff on top of the DC in the row below*, repeat *-* to end, CH5, 1SC around the CHSP, CH5 placing 1DC 1CH 1DC on top of the last DC. (19 puffs)

CH1, turn, 1DC in same st, 3DC into the CHSP, *CH1, 1DC on top of the SC, CH1, 3DC 2CH 3DC on top of the puff*, repeat *-* to end, CH1, 1DC on top of the SC, CH1, 3DC in last st CHSP, 1DC on top of last st. (19 full shells and 2 half ones)

Esna 3 

CH1, turn, 1SC in same st, CH1, *CH5, 1 Puff onto the DC in row below, CH5, 1SC around the CHSP of the shell*, repeat *-* to end, CH5, 1 Puff onto the DC in row below, CH6, 1 SC on top of the last DC. (20 puffs)

Esna 4 

CH1, turn, 1DC in same st, CH1, *CH1, 3DC 2CH 3DC on top of the puff, CH1, 1DC on top of the SC*, repeat *-* to end, CH1, 3DC 2CH 3DC on top of the puff, CH2, 1DC on top of the SC to finish the row (20 shells)
