Join as you go
Make the squares according to the colour instructions, one at a time.
The first square is done completely, for the other three in that batch, you are going to use Round 4 to join the square you are working on to the previous square.
You start by doing one corner and one side, then upon starting the next corner, you do half the corner (2DC and 1CH) and then you join it to the corner of the previous square with a SS into the CHSP of the corner.
Then complete the corner (1CH and 2DC) on the square you were working on.
Skip two DCs on the previous square and do a SS in between the 2nd and 3rd DC.
Now start doing the stitches along the side (9DCs) and every 3rd DC you go over to the previous square and skip 3DCS and insert to do a SS.
The fourth little square you will be joining on two sides and will be joining the middle of the corner to the CHSP of the corner opposite it. Then do the second side.
Then complete the remainder of round 4, SS to close the round.
You now have joined the 4 squares of the table
Then continue with
Round 5 SK, YO, insert into a corner CHSP, 2DC 2CH 2DC, then *sk 2, and place a dainty granny cluster of 2DCs in between the DCs of the row below.* repeat *-* to joined CHSPs, right before the CHSP you sk3 and place 2DCs into the CHSP, place 2DCs in the next CHSP, then repeat from the first * to end of side and do a corner. Work the four sides like this. SS and fasten off the yarn.
Round 6 SK, YO, inserting in between two clusters from round 5, start placing clusters of 2DCs in between the clusters, placing 2DC 2CH 2DC in the corner CHSPs. SS to close the rounds.
Round 7 - 13 repeat row 6
You now have a larger tile. (22 clusters on each side, 88 in total) Sew in the ends.
Complete this process for the tables 1 and 2
Then make tables 3 and 4 but use the last row of squares 3 and 4 (row 13) to join them JAYG to the squares 1 and 2 you made first
Join as you go.
Square 3 is joined to 2
Upon starting Round 13 of square 3, you start by doing one corner and one side, then upon starting the next side you do half the corner (2DC and 1CH) and then you join it to the corner of square 2 with a SS into the CHSP of the corner. Then complete the corner (1CH and 2DC) on square 3. Skip 2DCs on Square 2 and do a SS in between the 2DCs and 1st cluster on square 2. Now start doing the clusters along the side of square 3 and each time after each dainty cluster do a SS in between the clusters on square 2. (22 clusters)
Then complete the remainder of round 13, SS to close the round.
Square 4 is joined to 1
Upon starting Round 13 of square 4, you start by doing one corner and one side, then upon starting the next side you do half the corner (2DC and 1CH) and then you join it to the corner of square 1 with a SS into the CHSP of the corner. Then complete the corner (1CH and 2DC) on square 4. Skip 2DCs on Square 1 and do a SS in between the 2DCs and 1st cluster on square 1. Now start doing the clusters along the side of square 4 and each time after each dainty cluster do a SS in between the clusters on square 1. (22 clusters)
Then complete the remainder of round 13, SS to close the round.
You now have two rectangles with 22 clusters on the short sides and 44 on the long sides (132 in total).
