Jewels Of The Nile: Giza

Week 1 Giza

We will start off our CAL journey down the Nile in Giza, admiring the pyramids and enjoying a camel ride.

The Great Pyramids of Giza & Camel

To get started

Hook: Use your normal sized hook (or smaller hook (0.5 smaller than usual) if after a few rows you notice it goes wavy, you might need to restart with a smaller hook)

SK, CH 192, CH1, turn, 1DC in each st, (192)

Please note:

Measure the width of your blanket after a few rows.  It should be about 110 cm.

You start and end your row with a DC.

CH1 is your turning chain and does not count

Change colours by pulling the new colour through the last pull through of the last st of the previous row

Leave your ends hanging out, cut them at about 15 cm / 6 inches
